Spotting & bleeding

Hi mommies, nak tanya, ada tak korang yg berpengalaman, bleeding lama. Actually sy ada spotting dan bleeding yg mild masa minggu ke 10 baru2 ni, kebetulan masa spotting tu weekend, jadi sy ke klinik swasta. Doctor buat ultrasound segala, baby dalam keadaan baik² aje, ada juga buat VE nk tgk kut ada luka atau bukaan serviks, turns out semuanya okay, dan bagi balik dengan ubat dusphaston.Sekarang sy dah minggu ke 13, sekali lagi berlaku spotting dan bleeding tu. Again, weekend juga, so sy ke klinik yg sama. Buat ulstrasound, doc cakap, baby juga okay, aktif, degupan jantung kuat, uri bukan dibawah, ukuran baby pun ikut perkembangan dia, alhamdulillah. Dan bagi sambung ubat dusphaston tu. Perut memang xde sakit ke apa, cuma sy tak selesa la kan ada bleeding tu. And since minggu 13, gerakan pun sy xrasa lagi kan..risau juga, xkan asyik nak pergi scan je..any thoughts korang.? #mohonbantujawabyamoms

Alhamdulillah baby okay lah based on the scans, so that's the most reassuring thing! A few of my mum friends had similar spotting episodes in the first trimester and doc said it's quite common, some even had it on and off sampai second trimester. Your doctor dah check everything properly and baby's heartbeat kuat, so try to relax a bit (easier said than done kan lah ). Regarding the movements at week 13, honestly jangan risau sangat, most of us don't really feel proper kicks until around week 16-18, so it's still too early; you might just be feeling butterflies but didn't realize. Just make sure you keep taking the dusphaston as prescribed and if you spot again, try to resist the urge to scan immediately unless it becomes heavy or you have cramps, okay? Trust your doctor for now and give yourself some grace, early pregnancy spotting is scary but your baby's doing well!
