Hello mommies! Meron po ba dito same case sakin? I am currently 32 weeks, a 2 weeks ago nag pa check up ako, and okay naman lahat including my bp and size ni baby. Then nag bp ako the other night, nagulat ako sa taas ng bp ko 160/100. Nagpa checkup ako kahapon, may ob said hypertension nga daw yun and she said possible na maaga ko mapanganak. Pinag saksak nadin ako para sa lungs ni baby. Meron po ba dito na same case pero umabot padin nman ng at least 36 weeks si baby? And kumusta po si baby nyo? Aww, first-time mommy anxiety is real, sobrang naintindihan ka ko! The good news is, maraming moms na nakakuha ng hypertension reading around that time and umabot pa rin ng 36-37 weeks or beyond with really close monitoring, it's all about catching it early (which you did!) at staying on top ng check-ups. My neighbour actually had a similar BP spike at 32 weeks, and with weekly monitoring at meds kung kailangan, nabigyan siya ng more time, and baby was fine na-deliver at 37 weeks with healthy lungs. The steroids they gave you for baby's lungs ay super helpful na insurance pag may early delivery man, so that's already a big step. Keep a log ng BP mo at home if pwede, watch out para sa sudden headaches or swelling, at make sure makausap mo OB mo regularly about what warning signs to look for, bawat case talaga ay different, so best na i-confirm lahat with your own doctor kung ano exactly ang plan nila for you.
