Baby bump questions (Plus size moms)
Hi mommies! I’m currently 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Before po magbuntis, malaki talaga tummy ko dahil plus size ako, so pag nakatayo po, mukhang malaki bump ko pero pag nakahiga, loose daw yung tummy ko as per my OB. Anyone experienced this po?
Uy, totoo yan! A few of us plus-size moms went through the exact same thing at that stage, standing up, mukhang malaking bump na agad kasi yung existing tummy natin, pero pag nakahiga talaga, nakikita mo na kung saan ang actual baby at kung saan ang loose skin lang. Hindi ka nag-iisa dito, promise! Most of us didn't really get a super defined "pregnancy belly" look until around 28 weeks or so, kaya don't worry kung parang hindi super obvious pa ngayon, by the third trimester yan usually pag-obvious talaga na. The important thing is your OB's happy with how baby's growing, kaya focus lang doon. How's baby measuring naman according to your ultrasound?
