Ubo at sipon 9months old baby

Hi mommies, Im a bf mom and FTM. Ngayon lang nag kasakit ang anak ko huhu ubo at sipon, una ay sipon ngayon naman ubo... ang iniinom nya po na gamot is cetirizine at salbutamol... pero parang simula nung uminom sya ng salbutamol e mas lalo lumalala ang ubo nya? Normal lang po ba yun? Though wala po syang lagnat. Naaawa ako sa anak ko kapag umuub, yung ubo nya na parang may plema. Please help mommies, need suggestion and advice.🙏🏻🥺#FTM #needadvicepls  #UboAtSipon

Aww mama, I totally get how scary it is seeing our babies cough like that, especially with phlegm! Honestly, kung parang bumababa pa ang ubo after starting the salbutamol, better to mention that specifically sa doctor kasi hindi lahat ng babies respond the same way sa meds, one of my mum friends' baby had similar reaction at kailangan i-adjust ng pedia ang gamot. Since your little one is 9 months and still exclusively breastfed (or mostly?), keep doing that because your antibodies are helping her fight off the virus din. In the meantime, try elevating her head a bit while sleeping to help with the phlegm, at maybe use a humidifier if you have one, it really helped our baby's cough. But definitely loop in your pedia about the salbutamol making it worse, okay? Sending healing hugs to your baby, alam ko ang worried ka!
