Train baby sleep in crib

Hi mommies, I am so confused about getting back to work and where to leave my baby. Family is out of option since they leave abroad. She is 2 months old and still attached to me (breastfeed and also presence). I am worry if daycare will not accept my baby. I tried to train her sleep in crib but doesnt work yet, not even leaving her alone for 5 minutes without loud cry. Any suggestion mommies? I need to be in office by March. TIA #firsttimemom #repost

Ahhh I feel you, mommy, 2 months is still so tiny and they really do need their mamas, so don't worry lah, you're not doing anything wrong! The good news is that babies are adaptable, and most daycares are used to helping them settle in, even the clingy ones. A few of us tried gradual crib training by starting with naps (not nighttime) and sitting next to the crib first instead of leaving the room immediately, helps them feel safer, then slowly move your chair further away over a few weeks. Since you've got a couple months, maybe also reach out to daycares near you and explain the situation honestly; many will have experience with breastfed babies and can work with you on a transition plan, sometimes even allowing you to visit during the day at first. Definitely worth a chat with your baby's doctor too, just to make sure she's ready developmentally and to get their reassurance, you've got this!
