Smell aversion

This is really common in the first trimester, and it does usually ease up as you move further along. One option is to ask your partner or someone at home to take over the dog-bathing and grooming duties for now, so you have less direct contact with the smell. You could also try keeping the dog out of the bedroom so at least you have one space that feels neutral. It is a tough balance because you still love your dog, but honestly giving yourself some distance for a few weeks is probably the most practical thing you can do lah.
