Kailangan ko po bang mag change ng civil status for sss maternity benefit?

Hi mommies! Hindi kasi ako ng update ng IDs ko from single to married name. Mahihirapan po ba akong iprocess yung maternity benefit ko? Need ko po bang mag update ng civil status? Nakita ko po kasi one of the requirements when filing mat ben is yung mga record from the hospital eh married name na po ginamit ko sa hospital records/checkups ko.. thanks in advance!

Honestly, this is something I'd really suggest checking directly with SSS kasi ang rules nila can be strict, and it's better to confirm before you file para hindi ka ma-hassle later, a few of us went through similar situations at nag-email lang sa SSS or pumunta sa branch para clarify kung kailangan talaga ng updated IDs or kung pwede nang hospital records lang ang basis.
