Newborn Evening feeding

Aww, don't worry too much, you are definitely not alone in this! What your little one is going through sounds very much like cluster feeding, many newborns do this especially in the evening hours, where they feed more frequently, sometimes every hour or so, and can get quite fussy and difficult to soothe during that time. It is thought to be their way of building up your milk supply and also stocking up before the longer night stretch, so even though it feels stressful, it is actually quite normal for this stage. My neighbour brought her newborn to the paediatrician for the same concern and the doctor explained that evening fussiness combined with cluster feeding usually settles on its own as baby gets a bit older and feeding becomes more regulated. Just try to stay calm, offer the breast or bottle patiently, and know that this phase does pass. That said, since every baby is different, it would still be a good idea to check with your doctor or paediatrician just to rule out anything else and to get proper guidance suited to your little one.
