Nifedipine 20mg

Hello Mommies! Anyone po na nakapag try ng Nifedipine? Yesterday, nagtake ako para daw po hindi magcontract yung tummy ko, which is effective naman po napa-kalma nya po talaga yung tummy ko.. Nalessen din ang movements ni baby. Sobrang active nya kasi as in napakalikot pero now minsan ko nalang sya maramdaman..Reason kaya ako pinagtake:Yesterday, nag preterm labor ako as in nagccontract ang tummy ko with pain at ang interval nya ay every 6mins for like 1 hr pong ganun... Inultrasound ako agad, lahat naman ng result normal, close cervix walang anything na lumabas sakin..Complete bedrest talaga ako. Im at 31weeks and 5 days now.. kaso ang effect sakin nung med na yun ang sakit sakit ng ulo ko and parang ang bigat sa feeling tapos parang nakakapalpitate din sya. Ps. Ininform ko si doctor about sa naramdaman ko and, ang sabi nya kasi baka daw mataas ang Bp ko. Sadly, wala akong BP para mamonitor ko sana..Ang BP ko po palagi is 90/60 minsan mas mababa pa never po tumaas.. lagi din kasi ako puyat kaya ang baba po talaga ng BP ko 🥲#nifedipine

Mama, please contact your doctor or go to the hospital right away to tell them about the headache, heaviness, and palpitations you're feeling, these need to be checked immediately, hindi lang message lang, especially since you're on medication. Your doctor mentioned your BP might be high, so you really need proper monitoring right now. A few of us moms have been through medication side effects during pregnancy, at ang importante talaga is to report everything to your OB agad, wag maghintay. Since you don't have a BP monitor at home, the clinic or hospital can check you properly, and your doctor can decide kung kailangan i-adjust ang dose or switch medication.
