If your lo is hitting you, or trying to hit, hold his/her hands firmly enough, but with kindness, to ensure they won’t be effective. If you’re in public, go somewhere quiet and let him/her calm down. After that, have a short chat with lo and say you’re tired and need him/her to listen. Hope this helps!
