Hello mommies. 8 weeks postpartum na ako. and I thought of getting Birth control method. pero diko alam which one to go for. yung midwife nagpa anak saakin, sinabi niya saamin ng asawa ko na need may age gap for the next baby kasi mababa ang matres ko. Kindly share your experiences with different Birth control methods (like pills, implants, injectable, etc.) and when did you start and how long it took para mabuntis kayo ulit once nag stop kayo gumamit ng birth control... yes I know it depends sa katawan natin. Personally, we're using a combination of (mostly natural) methods. Exclusively breastfeeding kami ni baby so 8 months post-partum pa ko nagka-regla. Still, I wasn't using that (LAM) as a contraceptive. What works for us is a combination of calendar method, withdrawal and condom. Withdrawal on regular days, Condom on fertile days. Then buffer ng extra days for my safe days, up to the extent that I only consider the one week from my day1 of menstruation as my "safe days". So far, 2yo na si lo at hindi pa nasusundan, though I'm always open to the possibility na pwede pa rin talaga ako mabuntis.

wla pa kmi family plannng since wla sya dito. sa totoo lang 2 na anak namin girl and boy kaya gudto ko na magpaligate kaso ayaw pa ng OB ko 😩 dpt kasi 3 anak kaso ayaw na namin dhil pamahal ang bilihin eh. Anywayss paguwe nya for vacation sguru pills muna ako. Next year papaligate na ako.

Nag ask ako sa OB kung before pwede ba pills gamitin ko, pero hindi nya ako in-advise ng pills due to highblood condition..baka daw mapadali ang buhay ko hehe maybe may side effect un sa may highblood kaya ending nabuntis ako sa 3rd baby ko, so now ligate na ginawa sa akin.

ano inadvise niya sayo na family planning since di pwede sayo ang pills?

hindi pwede basta basta uminom ng pills. dapat reseta ng doktor. lalo if may varicose vein ka bawal ang pills sa may varicose. kasi malaki chance na magblood clot.
