Your gynae probably prescribed you aspirin because you’re at risk for preeclampsia, which is high blood pressure. I was also prescribed aspirin to consume from week 12 due to the same reason but my body did not react well to it because I have existing gut issues and it ended up causing me intestinal bleeding.
Do ask your gynae the potential side effects of aspirin before consuming it. If in doubt, seek a second opinion.
