May MCDK Din po ba baby niyo?

Hello mies ftm here sino po same case ng baby ko na may multiple cystic dysplastic kidney.? Kamusta na po ngayon mga baby ninyo?. 2 mos napo now si baby girl ko. 28 weeks pa siya nung nakita yun sa ultrasound tapos sabi pa ni Ob expect ko nalang anung mangyayari sa baby ko kasi nga may mcdk siya.Pero nung pinanganak Kona siya okay lang healthy rin, okay rin sa newborn screening. Wala din naman ibang habilin yung nga doctor nung na discharge na kami. Almost 2 days lang kami sa hospital.

Ay grabe, what a relief na healthy siya at okay ang newborn screening! Hindi ako naka-experience ng MCDK with my kids, but I have a mum friend whose baby had the same diagnosis prenatally at super anxious din siya like you, nung nabornang baby niya, okay rin and regular monitoring lang ang kailangan. Since your baby girl is thriving at 2 months na, that's such a good sign, pero definitely keep those follow-up appointments with your pedia or nephrologist kung may scheduled kayo para ma-monitor ang kidney function as she grows, some babies with MCDK do fine, pero it's best to stay on top of it. How's she doing otherwise, super normal baby pa rin?
