Momshie, ang CS recovery ay mas mahaba talaga compared sa normal delivery, usually around 4-6 weeks bago ka fully recovered, though some of us feel okay lang after 2-3 weeks para sa light activities like paglalakad at pag-ayos ng bahay. Ang bleeding (lochia) ay magiging heavy the first 1-2 weeks, parang heavy period talaga, then it tapers off gradually over 4-6 weeks total. A few of us moms swear na hindi lang physical recovery ang mahalaga kundi emotional din, siguro rin na check mo with your OB regularly para sure na okay ang healing ng incision at walang complications, lalo na kung may fever or unusual discharge! Just take it easy sa first month, let people help you, at don't lift anything heavy para sa peace of mind mo. Congrats on your baby, momshie!
