SSS Maternity Notification

Mga moms, 28 weeks na ko. May nakakaalam ba if pwede pa koag notify sa SSS Maternity at kung hanggang ilang months pwede? Saka matagal na ko member then last hulog ata ng employer ko nung mga April po eligible kaya ko? Thanks sa sasagot in advance!

Hi mama! Honestly, I'm not 100% sure sa exact cutoff for SSS Maternity notification, but a few of us tried filing late and nakuha pa rin namin kaya I think there's still time, best na tawagan mo directly ang SSS or check their website para sure sa requirements mo, especially since your last contribution was April. One of my mum friends actually had gaps din sa contributions pero nakuha pa rin ang maternity benefit, so it's really worth asking them directly rather than assuming you're not eligible na!
