Local Anesthesia (Lidocaine) for Tooth Extraction safe po ba for my baby? 29 weeks pregnant po ako.

Hi mga mommy, safe po ba ang Local Anesthesia (Lidocaine) sa buntis? Nakaschedule po ako to have a tooth extraction on Friday, and okay/approved naman sa OB at Dentist ko. Nagwoworry lang talaga ako sa magiging outcome for my baby if mainjectan ako ng anesthesia for tooth extraction. Di ko na po kasi kaya ang sakit ng ngipin, umaabot na sa tenga, ulo at ilalim ng mata k. Pero ngayon nagsubside na ang pain kasi nagtetake ako ng amoxicillin as prescribed na rin from my OB and Dentist dahil un lang ang antibiotic na safe sa buntis. Iniisip ko naman kung sumakit ulit ang ngipin ko, magpareseta nalang uli ako ng antibiotic for my tooth kung mas safe ang antibiotic kesa ipabunot. May nakaexperience po ba dito? Salamat po sa sasagot!

Anak, kung approved na ng OB at dentist mo, that's your green light, they know your history best at hindi sila magpaproceed kung may risk! The tooth extraction with local anesthesia ay standard na during pregnancy, pero I get the worry. Since the pain has settled with the antibiotics, ask your dentist on Friday kung pwede nang i-delay if you're still anxious, or just go ahead with the extraction since the infection is what's riskier long-term. You've got this, at your doctors are watching over you both.
