Drool Rash

Aw, drool rash is so annoying, diba? A few of us moms, we just keep the area dry as much as possible, change bibs frequently, wipe the chin with a soft cloth, and apply a gentle barrier cream like lanolin or a mild moisturizer to protect the skin. One of my friends swears by letting baby go diaper-free for a bit so the drool dries naturally, hehe. If it gets really red, angry-looking, or doesn't improve in a few days though, best to check with your pedia para sure na wala pang fungal infection, sometimes drool rash can turn into thrush if not managed.
