Aw, nakakaintindi ko yan, minsan talaga hindi malinaw ang ultrasound, lalo na kung ang technician ay mabilis lang mag-explain! Honestly, the most reliable sign is if makikita mo ang three lines (the labia) for girls or the "nub" pointing outward for boys, pero depende talaga sa angle at how clear ang image; if unsure ka, pwede mo ask for a follow-up ultrasound or ask the OB to confirm kasi sila ang expert. A few of my mum friends din nag-worry about this, and ang best advice talaga is hindi mag-stress, you'll know for sure sa anatomy scan around 18-20 weeks, or just ask your doctor directly to point out kung ano exactly ang makikita nila on the screen kasi ikaw ang may right to understand!
