Castor Oil to induce labor?

Hi mga Mi!! I’m on my 39th week and close cervix pa rin, nag prescribe si OB ko ng Castor oil (orange flavor) para daw makatulong maglabor. Sino po sa inyo uminom din nito?? How’s the experience? Effective ba mga Mi? Thank you po sa sasagot ☺️💕 #FTM #39weeks #castoroil

Ay, I haven't tried castor oil kasi my OB didn't prescribe it, pero isang kaibigan ko talaga uminom at nag-labor within 24 hours, though honestly hindi ko alam if it was the oil or na-ready na lang talaga ang katawan niya hehe! I've heard mixed stories from the moms in our group, iba nagsabi effective, iba nagsabi parang laxative lang talaga and walang effect sa labor, kaya baka depende talaga sa body. Since prescribed na ng OB mo, siguro okay lang, pero definitely follow her instructions exactly, at if may weird symptoms or concerns ka while taking it, message her agad, better safe than sorry, lalo na ganitong malapit ka na sa date!
