Ah sis, napakagulo ng situation na yan pero manageable lang talaga! A few of us din sa circle had to do short-term enrollments before moving abroad, and honestly the best bet is to contact the DepEd schools nearest sa inyo (both public and private) and explain na temporary lang enrollment mo, most are okay with it as long mayroon kayong valid documents and birth certificates, then just decide kung gusto mo public or private based sa schedule mo and kung kailan exactly kayo iiwan.
For your oldest especially, some schools are stricter with Grade 6 intake pero sa Grade 1 walang hassle, so mag-inquire na kayo ngayon para sure. One tip from my friend: don't stress too much kung behind ang curriculum dahil ang adjustment period lang talaga ang focus mo, at ang bonding nila with classmates, the academics catch up easily, truly!
