I have gestational diabetes so nagconsult ako sa endo then dietitian.
Eto advised sakin ng dietitian:
Instead of white rice, pedeng kamote or white corn since they have lower glycemic index. Pede din brown rice.
More veggies sa food especially green leafy veggies.
If magsnack ako, carrots or cucumber or half medium sized apple l, watch out din sa mga fruits kasi mataas sugar content nila.
If you want yogurt, dapat plain lang di flavored.
Better if small frequent meals at better if nasa oras/ evenly disteibuted ang schedule ng kain para di daw malito ang katawan natin sa pagrelease ng insulin.
