Ay nako, that's tough mama, 3rd degree laceration is really painful during recovery kaya I can imagine how uncomfortable you must be. A few of us mums sa aming group had similar tears, and honestly ang galing ng time and proper care, most of us healed well around 4-6 weeks, pero depende talaga sa individual at kung paano na-stitch. I'd really encourage you to follow up with your OB regularly para ma-monitor ang healing at ma-ensure walang infection, especially since may pamamaga pa, kasi yan ang important part talaga to avoid complications. Try to keep the area clean and dry, rest as much as you can (alam mo na yan pero mas importante pa rin), and don't hesitate to message your doctor if may increased pain or unusual discharge, better safe than sorry.
