Trichomonas Vaginalis

Question

Meron po bang mga mommies dito na nadiagnose din ng Trichomonas Vaginalis? When i search it online, STD pala sya at naworry ako kung pano ko ito nakuha dahil hindi naman kami nagkocontact ni hubby dahil on and off spotting ko (sure din naman ako na faithful sya saken hehe). At the same time po may UTI ako. Niresetahan po ako ng cefuroxime for a week. Hopefully gumaling agad at sana hindi maka affect kay baby, Im 28weeks na po. Kayo mga mommies, ano po ang nakapag pagaling ng UTI/Trichomonas Vaginalis nio?

Na diagnose po ako nyan when I was just at my 12 weeks po nun. Hindi rin ako makapaniwala na nag checheat yung partner ko kasi di naman lumalabas ng bahay yun and na feel ko talaga contentment niya. Niresetahan po ako nun ng metronidazole for 1 week, progesterone for 2 weeks (yung pinapasok sa vagina), isox 3 times a day for 1 month. Isang beses lang naman nag result yung Trichonomas, nung nagpa lab test ulet ako and papsmear narin para sure after ko uminom ng gamot. Wala na yung trichonomas, IDK if I ever had trichonomas in the first place kasi before ako na diagnose, nagpalab test ako ng 2 times, wala naman, nung thrice na nag result tapos wala na. Sundin niyo nalang po recommendation ng ob niyo 😊

Hindi ko po naexperience yung ganyan mommy.. Baka po nakuha niyo po sa previous partner niyo po since STD po.. Tapusin niyo po yung gamot na nireseta ng doctor niyo po😊
