Uy, I totally get it, sometimes kailangan lang natin mag-check even kung di pa nag-request ang OB, especially if may concerns ka talaga about sugar levels! A few of us actually went to private labs din para mag-OGTT without waiting for the request, kaya pwede mo gawin yan sa most diagnostic centers, pero importante talaga na makasama mo ang results sa OB mo next visit para ma-discuss properly, lalo na kung first time mom ka pa. I'd suggest talking to your OB about it next time in a calm way, or maybe text lang kung mas comfortable ka, kaya she knows you're monitoring and it's not dismissive, pero kung talagang uncomfortable ka with her, pwede mo rin i-switch OB pa lang, mas importante na feel mo safe with whoever's attending sa iyo.
