Pain

Masakit yong ugat sa may wrist ko (tapat ng thumb finger). Nagstart to about two weeks bago ako manganak (CS), hanggang ngayon masakit parin. Mataas pala BP ko simula din nong nakaramdam ako ng ganito. 140-150/90-100. May nakaranas ba ng ganito? Ano po ginawa nyo?

Possible na nagdedevelop ka ng De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. Possible causes: hormonal changes, swelling that compress yung tendon ng thumb mo, due to new repetitive movement ng wrist & thumb. Common among pregnant women. But still best to have it checked. Im a physical therapist btw. 😁

Its best to have it checked. Its hard to tell kasi case to case basis naman yan and hindi ko po physically maaassess which is important. (depende sa severity din). Once properly assessed, dun natin malaman yung proper management (whether it be applying warm/cold compress, taking meds, using splints/ support, exercises, steroid injection, etc.) Its expected among pregnant women, especially after giving birth (due to various reason). 😊✌️
