Freezing refrigerated breast milk

Hi Mamas, I'm a first-time-mum heading back to work soon. As I will be pumping at work, was wondering if it is okay to put expressed milk in the refrigerator first while at work, and then freeze it when I get home in the evening? Will that be okay for the milk considering the temperature change?

It should be fine temperature wise! But u might wanna just try out first, to check if u have high lipase. I used to do that with my milk. Turns out, I got high lipase, and baby refuse to drink my frozen bm. Now it’s either I fridge it, or freeze immediately after pump.

Hello. Mas mainam po yata if sa freezer nyo napo kaagad ilagay tas pagdating nyo po sa bahay kahit sa ref itself na lang kung ipapatake na din naman po kay baby 😊 maganda din po siguro if you have insulated bag 😊
