LO who is 15 months will not sit still during meals. Any mommy experiencing it too? Any tips on how to get her to guai guai sit and eat till full? Sigh. TIA.
In my dreams. Haha. We are a blw family and baby has been eating together with us eversince he started eating. At 12 months onwards, he discovered his ability to stand crawl walk etc. I think its normal. I will just end the meal and offer again later
We eat together. No high chair. We give him the same chair as ours. Same plate as ours. As early as 5months I always carry him during meal time so he will see what we are doing. But it is really difficult to keep his attention that long.
My mum will always pick my LO when we’re out having lunch/dinner when he starts standing up. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ grandparents will not let my LO cry. Cry only pick up. How to train? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I will normally on cartoons for him so he will be distracted. Or otherwise I’ll feed him at his playpen. So he can move around and play, but not far. And I’ll just sit down in the playpen with him. When he wants the food, he’ll come to me.
Same as mine, never sit, she can climb up then try to go down the high chair, so I bought a lower one, she still can release herself the walk out from her "low" chair 😔so i just let her sit wherever she wants and feed her anywhere 😅

Get LO to dine with the adults. she will learn from examples. secondly if she get distracted, teach her the surrounding stuffs like where is the fan? distract her and feed her at the same time
Def takes a lot of patience to do this too. Once u feel like blowing, get someone else to feed, least you scold her for mealtime and she may dislike mealtime
Just don’t be tempted to pass them the phone or tablet. Once go to them means gone case. And need to be firm when talking to them.
Use a high chair to restraint. give him something in his hand like a toy car to kinda distract him halfway when he's bored with eating.
