Speech. used to say dada and mama

My LO is currently 17 months. He used to say dada and mama though not meaningful. But for about few months, he stopped saying mama and Dada 😔 He's able to repeat words like banana and car if he's asked to. Currently he only says 'mum mum' when he wants food which is all the time 😂 I've heard him saying 'mummy' a few times when he cried but I'm not too sure about it. Otherwise, he's fine with sensory, interactions, making eye contacts and able to point to us what he wants. He can recognize things by pointing like animals, fruits and vehicle when asked. Should I be worried or bring him for an assessment?
