Toddler Pooping in his pants

My little one is 5 this year but he is still pooping on his pants. He can pee in his potty but when it comes to popping, he choose to sit down and poop on his pants as he always say he is scared. He used to have lots of constipation when he was younger. Anyone face this issue? How can I help him? #advicepls
