Ah sis, this is so real, parang karamihan ng kami dito in our circle, naging roommates lang kami instead of partners after a few years ng marriage, kaya nag-effort kami talaga to reconnect as friends ulit. The thing is, kung hindi kayo friends first, mas mahirap mag-work out ang relationship pag may challenges, so it's not just sweet, it's actually foundation na kailangan natin. One of my best mum friends and her husband nag-start ng weekly date nights pero casual lang, hindi fancy, kaming-kama lang sa couch with coffee and real talk, and she swears yan na-save ng marriage nila because they remembered kung bakit nila nag-enjoy ang company ng isa't isa.
