What would you do?
Let’s say it has been days since you’ve given birth and while in your room breastfeeding your LO, your cousin knocked on your door and said “baka gusto mong paarawan ang anak mo!” out of the blue.
Honestly, I'd probably laugh it off kasi fresh postpartum pa lang ako and honestly wala akong energy for that conversation, pero I'd tell her na the baby is still adjusting and I'm still recovering din! A few of us moms have dealt with this kind of unsolicited advice, and we've learned na it's okay to be firm pero kind, like, "thanks for the thought, pero focus muna kami sa bonding at healing." Your cousin probably means well, pero those early days are really about you and baby settling in together, hindi rushed into activities pa. Basta set your boundaries na ngayon pa lang para di maging habit ang iba-butuserin ka sa parenting decisions mo.
