Maternity benefit

Last na hulog ko po sa sss ko is february 2024 nagresign na po kasi ako sa work ko, manganganak po ako ng october and magpapa palit po ako ng employed to voluntary may need pa po ba akong bayaran na month for sss maternity benefit? Pag nag pa change to voluntary po ba sa sss may bayad?

Wala naman exactly bayad for changing membership status. But you do have to pay for a monthly contribution in "Voluntary" para machange sya

If concern mo is for matben, ang kailangan mo lng naman qualify is "The member has paid at least three (3) months of contributions within the 12-month period immediately before the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage/emergency termination of pregnancy" https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/appmanager/pages.jsp?page=maternity So kung qualified ka na naman (better login to your sss acct to check), then kahit maghulog ka ng kahit 1 month lang after Feb 2024 just to change your membership status.
