Tanong lang po as a first time mom

Last menstruation ko po ay September 19, 2021. By November, nag PT po ako dalawang beses (magkaibang araw) and it came out POSITIVE. Simula po nun, hindi pa po ako nakakapagpacheck up. I downloaded this app to track my baby, so nasa 16 weeks na po ako bukas. Medyo may bump na rin po ako. Kapag nagpacheck up po ba ko, bukod sa laboratories diretso ultrasound po yun to check if theres a baby and a heartbeat? Thank you!#1stimemom #pregnancy

Congrats, mama! Yes, usually kapag first prenatal checkup mo sa 16 weeks, dadahin ka ng doctor sa ultrasound para makita ang baby at marinig ang heartbeat, that's the main thing they do to confirm everything's okay. Pero magkakaroon din probably ng basic labs (blood pressure, urine test, blood work) bago o after the ultrasound, kaya prepare ka na rin ng urine sample at lahat. I know it feels overwhelming as a first-timer, pero super worth it once makikita mo na ang baby on screen, and the doctors will explain lahat ng makikita nila, don't be shy to ask questions!
