Pregnancy during mid 30's is not easy.

Last Friday, I was rushed to my OB's Clinic due to spotting. I've been in bed rest ever since. Last night the pain in my abdomen was unbearable. I went to my OB today. This time, I have to be in full bed rest. Even going to the washroom is not allowed. I had my ultrasound and saw how the baby is uber active. Malikot pa sa kiti-kiti teh! Baby's foot is pinned to my abdomen which causes the pain. I asked if my OB can see the gender already. She said the baby is super harot so she can't capture it. But it might be a girl cause she didn't see any 'lawit' when scanning. I will go back on the 24th for another scan. The clinic is so near the Divine Mercy Shrine so we stopped by to say a little prayer. I am super thankful that our baby is safe. The gender is no longer important. The safety of our little one is what we care the most right now. Hang in there baby! We're halfway there.

Uy, what a scary experience talaga, pero I'm so glad baby is safe and active pa! Rest up completely lang as your OB says, I know it's tough especially sa mid-30s pregnancy when your body feels lahat ng movements, but that active baby is actually a good sign. A few of us went through bed rest din, at honestly the hardest part is staying still mentally, so keep your phone, books, whatever keeps you sane within arm's reach. Take care of yourself, and see you on the 24th with hopefully clearer answers, for now, baby's strong heartbeat is what matters most. Praying for you and your little one!
