Period color

Hi ladies, can i ask if anyone’s period color changes throughout the day? Day 4 of period and it turned dark brown in the morning when i woke up to pee. So i thought it was coming to an end. After which i saw a drop or 2 of red blood later in the evening. That sort of confused me. Is this normal?
