Aiyoo, congrats mama! My C-section experience was honestly smoother than I expected, I stayed in the hospital for 3 nights, and what really helped was bringing my own pillow from home (easier on the incision when lying down), extra underwear I didn't mind throwing away, and maternity pads because the bleeding is proper heavy after surgery. A few of us mums also swore by having someone to help at home for the first 2 weeks because bending down and lifting is no joke with a fresh cut, so make sure your support system is ready!
