Ate, please go to your OB-GYN right away, any unusual smell down there after IUD insertion needs to be checked out, kasi it could be infection or something that needs attention. Hindi yan normal and better safe than sorry, lalo na ngayon lang galing-galing mo pa lang mag-IUD. A few of us mums have had IUDs, and honestly, light cramping and spotting lang ang normal, pero amoy-amoy is a red flag, don't wait, okay? Get yourself checked ASAP.
