It is normal that you do not feel engorged after the first 6-12 weeks. I personally did not have any engorged feeling at all from the first day until today (my lo is 7mo now). Typically around 6- 12 weeks, your milk supply will begin to regulate and that's when you feel your breast is softer / empty. You may also stop leaking, feel less let down and getting less milk when you pump. This does not mean your supply has dropped but your body has figured how much milk has been removed and does not need too much of milk. At this point you probably won't feel engorge.
