Yes, it is normal for a three-year old to imitate others. This is how toddlers pick up socializing skills and learn what are acceptable and unacceptable behaviour. A lot of my friends put their “copying behaviour” to good use. Such as asking them to help out around the house and involving them in dinner preparations. One key thing to note would be that parents and adults in the house must be on their “best behaviour” to be good role models for the children to learn from. ;)

This is more common than ever. They simply loves to imitate what others r doing. They r still at the learning stage therefore be careful of yr actions. You may alsi take this opportunity to educate them what is right and what is wrong. They will learn very fast.

For sure! Little children are little copy-cats. They actually learn a lot from imitating adults. So when kids are younger us adults need to be extra careful about what words we use, how we treat people around us and even how we react to situations.

Oh definitely! Kids that age tend to follow what we do, but they also learn a lot by imitating adults. Just be sure not to swear, raise your middle finger etc in front of them!

Totally! My 18months old is already starting to do that which is why I am also more careful with the words I'm saying and the actions I'm doing.

thanks
