Implantable contact lenses (ICL) for high myopia - are they safe for kids?

ICL surgery is generally safe but not advisable for children. Myopia in children generally progresses throughout the years until they reach adulthood. There can be eye ball length and corneal changes that can cause the power to change. It would be best for the myopia to stabilize before considering ICL.
