I really feel you on this -- it can be so nerve-wracking going in for your first visit not knowing what to expect from your doctor. I haven't personally seen Dr Carmen Tong myself, but a friend of mine delivered at KKH under her care and said she was really calm and reassuring throughout the whole process, which meant a lot especially during labour. My friend felt that she explained things clearly and didn't make her feel rushed at any point, which I think is so important when you're already anxious. Hope your first visit goes smoothly, and do trust your gut feel after you meet her lah -- sometimes that first impression really tells you a lot.
