First trimester screening

Hey, im going in for my First Trimester Screening counselling + screen tomorrow. I need to make up my mind if i want to do the test. Im 24 this year and healthy. My mother in law insist that I do not need the test as this is usually for mummies in the late thirties.. but I feel like I just wanna do the test just to be extra safe.. what are your thoughts?

On the day of my check up I was posted for a scan, see gynae, and then FTS counselling in this order. During the consultation my gynae recommended me to take the FTS due to my age (30s). During the FTS counselling they shared there is a risk at every age but 24 is quite low. The FTS is about $200+ with KKH. U may want to check with your gynae during the consult what are his/her thoughts of FTS for your situation. There is more info on google "FTS KKH". Hope is helps! :)
