Has anyone requested Hospitalisation Leave (HL) from NUH subsidised gynae before?

I’m currently 30 weeks first time mum and working full-time in the special needs sector. Been seeing high-risk clinic in NUH gynae as a subsidised patient due to few medical conditions, but so far I’m blessed with a stable pregnancy and no major issues (only high risk of pre-eclampsia). Recently I have been feeling stressed and burnt out from my job due to the work environment and wish to apply for 1 month HL from week 36 onwards or earlier to rest at home…will it be possible for gynae to give HL based on my situation? I’ve seen a few posts on HL here but they are quite old. Please advise thank you mummies 🙏

Heard some doctors do that, or if you have run out of your MC. Just check in with them. However, do check your HR policy about this. Certain workplace may actually consider it the start of your ML if you never went back to work before your delivery date ie from when you intend to start your HL till delivery date.
