I understand the frustration of seeing different doctors each time, it can feel a bit impersonal especially for your first pregnancy. Since you're a subsidised patient at SGH, you typically don't get to pick your own consultant, but what you can do is ask the polyclinic to refer you to a specific doctor if there's one you'd prefer, or ask SGH directly at your next appointment if there's a way to request continuity of care with one doctor. As for the antenatal packages, it's worth asking the O&G department or the admin counter about what's available for subsidised patients and whether you qualify, since different packages do exist but the details aren't always volunteered upfront. Some mums have better luck getting information by calling the department directly rather than waiting for the consultation.

You want to select your own gynae, you have to contact the clinic and ask to change to a private route instead. Subsidies entails different dr every appt up to delivery. While private, you see the same gynae throughout.

Haha sorry! But I’m not sure about Sgh! I gave birth my son in nuh :D
