Ovarian Cyst

I'm 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Had my first ultrasound today and found out that I have a cyst on my right ovary. Is this normal during the early first stage of pregnancy? My OB told me that this should only be monitored monthly. No medicine given. Lumiliit naman daw yung cyst. Btw, nasa lahi naman ang magkaroon ng ovarian cyst.
