Ay, congrats sa bagong baby! Ang stitches usually nag-dissolve na within 1-2 weeks, but ang actual healing ng wound mismo ay tumatagal ng around 4-6 weeks pa, kaya importante talaga ang pag-aayos during that time, lalo na kung hindi ka nag-rest ng maayos. One of my mum friends got an infection kasi nag-overexert siya early on, so please check with your OB if may unusual pain, swelling, or discharge, mas safe at peace of mind mo if doctor confirms lahat okay lang with your healing.
