If kayo ang papipiliin, big or small party for baby's first birthday?

We just had a small party (sort of like a playdate) for my daughter's first birthday yesterday. We rented a spacious hotel room and only my very very close friends (who are also my daughter's ninang) are invited together with their kids. We just had candle blowing then let the kids run and play.
