Medical Ceritificate

I was send for a fetal scan today by my doctor at NUH. I am under subsidised route. I requested for mc but was not given as it was just a scan and no doctor’s visit. Is this normal practice? #pregnancy

yes it’s normal because only doctors can issue MC, regardless subsidized or private. scan technicians (sonographers) cannot issue mc.

the scans are not readily available in public hospitals like that.. can take few days for processing and doctor to review. you can ask for a time sheet next time.
