threatened abortion

I was diagnosed with threatened abortion the other day, I was having a little spotting twice already but I'm already taking some meds for it. Ask ko lng mga mommy is there any way aside from taking meds to prevent it to happen ? I'm currently on 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant.
