transition from breastmilk to formula.

i tried with Abott Grow formula milk and few hours later my baby vommited (abt 1/4 of the milk). i tried giving her again but she kind of gags. prolly bc it tasted new to her. should i keep trying to feed her? (this time less quantity. i think she was overfed....) and how much time should i give her? few days to try again? help 🫣

Did you try to mix breastmilk and formula to let her get used to it? What I did when I want to wean off bm and switched to formula is that I started with 80(bm)-20(formula), then slowly increase formula to 50-50, then subsequently transit to full formula. And according to the nan representative, she said some babies will need at least 8-15 tries before accepting formula.
